Senior Consultant, Privileged Access Management (HashiCorp)

Location: Toronto, ON, with a hybrid arrangement requiring 1–3 days per week on-site

CIBC is a relationship-oriented bank developing information security and identity access services for a large enterprise.

What you will do

• Drive roadmap initiatives for Identity and Access Services, including documentation updates, working group awareness, and audit deficiency remediation.
• Assess projects for security risks and identify enhancement and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Create business requirements, process documentation, procedures, and architecture diagrams for Privileged Identity and Access Security initiatives.
• Coordinate workshops, facilitate user acceptance testing, and participate in technical deployments and business validation.
• Support the design, proof-of-concept activities, implementation, and deployment of nonhuman privileged access and secrets management solutions.
• Educate business users and facilitate adoption of Identity and Access Services best practices and tools.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT or security role.
• Experience with HashiCorp products and knowledge of Identity and Access Management and information security.
• Knowledge of business process modeling notations such as BPMN, EPC, or BPEL.
• Current accreditation and good standing in relevant security certifications.
• Ability to work 1–3 days per week on-site in Toronto and be legally eligible to work at the specified location, with a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Strong critical thinking, ownership, collaboration, communication, and change-management skills.

Nice to have

• CyberArk PAM experience.
• Experience with SailPoint or Workday.
• Experience in a financial institution.
• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP certification.
