Solutions Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Candidates near Calgary, Alberta, Canada are prioritized. The role includes travel of up to 50%.

What you will do

• Conduct discovery sessions, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions and communicate product capabilities clearly.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and internal teams to align technical and sales objectives.
• Support RFP and RFI responses, channel partners, customer seminars, trade shows, and industry events.
• Improve pre-sales processes, methodologies, and workflows.
• Maintain current knowledge of security trends, products, and customer use cases.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering or technical support for privileged access management, identity security, or similar enterprise applications.
• 3+ years of experience working with global software vendors.
• Experience presenting technical solutions and differentiating products from competitors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, SQL, VMware, and Hyper-V.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations at trade shows or conferences.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CEH, or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and environments.
• Experience with hirify.global solutions or similar technologies.
