Senior Project Manager, Implementation (Fintech)

Location: US Remote; candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for full-time employment

Salary: $106,000–$118,400 per year

What you will do

• Lead complex implementation projects, maintaining schedules, budgets, milestones, and delivery plans.
• Act as the primary implementation lead for customers and manage communication throughout onboarding and post-launch activities.
• Coordinate Product Development, Customer Success, Technical Consulting, Technical Implementation, Engineering, Support, and vendor teams.
• Identify implementation risks, dependencies, escalations, and operational challenges, then develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage customer-facing meetings, Jira tickets, backlogs, project documentation, release dependencies, and technical gaps.
• Improve delivery processes, contribute to best practices, and mentor less experienced project managers.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States for full-time employment; employment sponsorship is not available.
• 3–6 years of experience leading implementation projects, customer onboarding, project delivery, or client-facing operational engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field.
• Advanced experience managing complex implementations, customer-facing delivery, project risks, escalations, and dependencies.
• Strong scheduling, stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, communication, analytical, organizational, and customer relationship skills.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, Slack, or similar platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with fintech, SaaS, or digital banking implementation projects.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Working knowledge of SQL, technical implementation, integration coordination, project financial management, forecasting, or resource planning.
• Experience with process optimization or mentoring project coordinators and junior project managers.
