Data Center FCW Submittal Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday; Friday work location is flexible. Travel up to 10% is required.

Annual base salary: $60,000–$86,169.99.

What you will do

• Lead mechanical engineering activities for Airside Data Center Fan Coil Wall (TCDC) Pods.
• Support bidding, submittal generation, order release, bill of materials development, and mechanical model generation.
• Develop and review customer-specific mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, and product records.
• Coordinate with electrical, design, manufacturing, operations, quality, and product management teams.
• Provide technical support for production, field issues, customer witness testing, validation, and design reviews.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, design improvements, and cost and margin improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least 3 years of experience in design engineering, product engineering, or mechanical engineering support.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, engineering documentation, bills of material, and engineering drawing and model processes.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work across engineering, design, operations, and manufacturing teams and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and designers.
• Ability to apply sound engineering judgment and lead technical problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with configured-to-order or engineered-to-order products.
• Experience in HVAC, air handling equipment, or related engineered product environments.
