What you will do

  • Integrate, test, debug, and deliver spacecraft electronics during project integration phases.
  • Serve as the responsible engineer and subject matter expert for build-to-print unit testing.
  • Perform test conductor activities and troubleshoot hardware from component level through system functionality.
  • Use bench supplies, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other laboratory equipment to resolve test issues.
  • Read and edit software test scripts and analyze production metrics.
  • Implement engineering changes and lead efforts to improve production yield and clarify test flows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification, plus 2–5 years of experience.
  • Experience producing, integrating, and testing electronics, especially digital circuits, processors, FPGAs, and power supplies.
  • Ability to read and understand digital and analog schematics, production travelers, and test procedures.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting complex electronics systems using standard laboratory tools.
  • Knowledge of quality control, configuration management, and root cause analysis methods.
  • Clear written and verbal communication and disciplined testing skills for mission-critical hardware.

Nice to have

  • Digital or analog design experience, including functional descriptions, assembly instructions, test plans, and test results.
  • Familiarity with schematic, bill of materials, ERP, work order, assembly traveler, spreadsheet, and test-data tools.
  • Experience implementing engineering changes to schematics, bills of materials, and related documentation.
  • Spacecraft hardware and electronics assembly and test experience.
  • Proficiency with C++ and a scripting language such as Lua or Python.
