Process Engineer III (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Albany, NY, United States; travel required approximately 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $108,000–$148,500 per year

What you will do

• Design, execute, and analyze complex process engineering experiments across multiple products.
• Characterize hardware and develop methods for evaluating complex systems and new technologies.
• Measure film properties, prepare technical reports and specifications, and create internal and external product documentation.
• Develop and implement new technologies, products, and analytical instrumentation within safety guidelines.
• Train engineers in measurement techniques, data interpretation, troubleshooting, and new methodologies.
• Resolve complex process engineering issues with customers and collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and R&D teams.

Requirements

• Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise in a specialized process engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills for complex engineering issues and innovative solutions.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend improvements to products, processes, or services.
• Ability to communicate difficult technical concepts and negotiate technical solutions with customers and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work in Albany, NY, with approximately 10% travel.
