Manager Module Engineering (Semiconductor)

Location: Essex Junction, Vermont, United States; onsite semiconductor manufacturing environment

Salary: $118,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead engineers and technicians responsible for furnace and rapid thermal processing tools supporting 200mm manufacturing.
• Use data-driven decisions to improve quality, cost, yield, delivery, development milestones, equipment availability, and production output.
• Implement operational excellence, continuous improvement, process excellence, and standards for stable processes and strong wafer yields.
• Drive results across technology development, integration, module engineering, quality, and supply chain functions.
• Support 24x7 manufacturing operations and varying AWS shift schedules, including occasional work beyond a standard 5/2 schedule.
• Collaborate with module engineering teams at other fab locations to define and apply best-known methods and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations engineering, module engineering, characterization, yield engineering, integration, or technology development.
• Experience managing people and engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal, is required.
• Experience with wafer manufacturing, process engineering, equipment engineering, and process controls.
• Ability to work in cleanroom conditions and wear required personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of management experience.
• Master of Science in electrical, chemical, mechanical, or materials science engineering.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and methods.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a self-motivated approach.
