Service Operations Manager (Data Center Cooling)

Location: Remote from Oklahoma, with the option to work in Oklahoma City, OK; travel to job sites or factories may reach 50%

What you will do

• Lead, supervise, train, and mentor service technicians through commissioning, warranty, and aftermarket service.
• Own end-to-end delivery, schedule adherence, quality, and customer outcomes across an assigned cluster of hyperscaler sites.
• Balance technician competencies, project requirements, staffing, materials, and schedules to maintain efficient execution.
• Support diagnostics and repair of controls hardware, including controllers, relays, measurement devices, actuators, and related mechanical and electrical systems.
• Coordinate with building owners, contractors, engineers, commissioning teams, sales representatives, and internal engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve complex field issues.
• Maintain customer relationships and advise leadership on satisfaction, product performance, and product improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Technical associate degree plus two years of related field experience, or four years of equivalent experience in HVAC, building automation, or a technical environment.
• At least four years of experience supervising teams.
• Knowledge of critical infrastructure, automatic controls, building automation systems, HVAC, and air-handling equipment.
• Ability to plan, request, and manage staffing and resources across multiple data center sites.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, schematics, and manuals, with strong analytical and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate multiple teams, use Microsoft Office, and travel up to 50% for equipment-related work.

Nice to have

• Project management experience leading initiatives and managing team outputs under tight deadlines.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, including professional presentations to data center clients.
• Bachelor’s degree plus four years of field experience, or six years of equivalent HVAC or building automation experience.
