Sr. Director of Accounting & Corporate Controller (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Milpitas, California, United States; onsite at the Milpitas office. The role is ideally based at the headquarters and may involve periodic global travel.

Salary: $202,200–$343,700 per year.

What you will do

• Lead global monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Oversee consolidation of financial results and preparation of consolidated financial statements and close packages.
• Ensure the integrity, consistency, and transparency of recorded financial events.
• Maintain corporate SOX and key-control frameworks, US GAAP compliance, statutory compliance, and audit support.
• Standardize and automate accounting processes across global operations.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams, build cross-functional relationships, and support financial systems for new business initiatives.

Requirements

• CPA or Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience spanning public accounting, corporate accounting, and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and deep expertise in internal controls, SOX, and COSO frameworks.
• Experience building, standardizing, and scaling accounting processes and leading finance or accounting transformation initiatives.
• Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or technology companies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through change, make decisions in ambiguous environments, and develop high-performing teams.
