Senior Director, Finance Transformation (Versant Media)

Location: Hybrid, based at the Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey office, with a minimum of three days per week onsite. Domestic travel is required as needed for business meetings, training, transformation activities, and team events.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 yearly, plus bonus and long-term incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the finance transformation roadmap, governance, delivery plans, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Act as the senior Finance liaison to Technology, ERP teams, system integrators, business units, and external transformation partners.
• Translate finance, accounting, reporting, and control requirements into scalable ERP processes, master data, workflows, and reporting designs.
• Guide data conversion, validation, reconciliation, testing, cutover, integrations, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Embed financial reporting, SOX, internal controls, close processes, reconciliations, consolidation, and audit-readiness requirements into future-state solutions.
• Drive adoption, continuous improvement, automation, and AI enablement across Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in finance transformation, controllership, finance systems, accounting operations, or related roles.
• Significant experience leading enterprise ERP or finance-system transformation programs, preferably with SAP S/4HANA or another modern cloud ERP platform.
• Strong knowledge of Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, master data governance, U.S. GAAP, public-company reporting, internal controls, and SOX.
• Experience with process redesign, data conversion and reconciliation, testing, cutover, organizational change management, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Experience partnering with technology organizations, system integrators, third-party implementation partners, BPO or managed-services providers, and senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• CPA, MBA, or a comparable advanced finance, accounting, or technology credential.
• Experience in media, entertainment, digital, advertising, networks, streaming, technology, or another complex high-volume industry.
• Experience applying AI, automation, analytics, or emerging technologies within Finance.
