Salary: $115,000–$140,000 per year

hirify.global is developing commercial fusion energy systems using computer-controlled arrays of planar coils and stellarator technology.

What you will do

  • Draft, negotiate, and execute technical subcontracts for custom-built fusion components, including cryogenic systems and vacuum vessels.
  • Manage supplier performance against complex statements of work, including milestones, costs, technical quality, acceptance criteria, and payment schedules.
  • Develop negotiation strategies covering intellectual property, confidentiality, warranties, liability, risk allocation, termination, and long-term pricing.
  • Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, and company leadership to manage financial, operational, and legal risks.
  • Source and evaluate specialized engineering firms, construction contractors, custom machine shops, and technical service providers globally.
  • Own non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements for supplier and partner engagements.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience managing subcontracts, complex supplier agreements, or commercial procurement contracts.
  • Experience with hard-tech, aerospace, defense, or heavy industrial energy projects.
  • Deep knowledge of contract law concepts, including warranties, intellectual property protections, termination, and liability limitations.
  • Strong contract drafting, document control, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate engineering, finance, and legal inputs across complex agreements.
