Location: Santa Clara, California, or remote within the United States. Remote employees must travel to the Santa Clara headquarters twice per quarter based on business or team needs, and must work in person there during the first two weeks of onboarding. U.S. citizenship is required.
Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year
Company
develops advanced fission power plants, nuclear fuel recycling technologies, and domestic supply chains for critical radioisotopes in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. National Laboratories.
What you will do
- Execute RFQ and RFP sourcing events, including bid leveling, commercial analysis, supplier evaluation, and selection.
- Create, review, and administer purchase orders according to negotiated commercial terms.
- Source materials, equipment, fabrication services, construction-related services, and other requirements for Fuel Recycling programs.
- Partner with engineering and project teams to align technical requirements, schedules, risks, and supplier capabilities.
- Support contract development, commercial negotiations, construction, facility, infrastructure, and capital project procurement.
- Track supplier performance, purchase orders, delivery commitments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, construction management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, contracts, project procurement, or a related area.
- Experience in complex technical, industrial, manufacturing, construction, or capital project environments.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, problem-solving ability, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and procurement initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
- U.S. citizenship is required; the role may involve access to information subject to U.S. export control laws.
Nice to have
- Experience with nuclear, energy, aerospace, defense, semiconductor, chemical processing, industrial construction, or advanced manufacturing programs.
- Experience with both material procurement and service or contract procurement.
- Familiarity with construction, EPC, capital project, facility-related, ERP, MRP, or procurement systems.
- Experience supporting early-stage or rapidly growing organizations.
