Director, Supply Chain

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid workplace. The role includes occasional travel or nights, weekends, and on-call work for construction sites and suppliers, plus work in a facility with industrial hazards.

What you will do

• Lead the direct procurement, planning, and supplier quality organization.
• Set organizational strategy, objectives, priorities, and workload for the supply chain team.
• Manage cost, quality, and delivery objectives for SPARC DDR, FTL, and other assigned projects.
• Own executive-level relationships with major suppliers and resolve escalated issues.
• Improve strategic sourcing, purchase order management, supplier quality, and supplier development processes.
• Report project status, risks, and issues, and lead business transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of supply chain experience in a highly technical environment.
• 10+ years of experience managing and developing teams.
• Experience sourcing and overseeing complex projects involving equipment, parts, services, and multiple commodities.
• Ability to structure and negotiate complex contracts and develop sourcing strategies.
• Willingness to travel and occasionally work nights, weekends, or on call; ability to work around industrial hazards is required.

• Master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
