Senior DevOps Platform Engineer (Azure/GCP)

Location: Limited Geography Remote position based in the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices may be required

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan

What you will do

• Design, build, and support secure cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness, and GitOps practices.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes platforms including AKS, GKE, and OpenShift.
• Own enterprise DevOps platforms such as JFrog Artifactory, Xray, Curation, Argo CD, SonarQube, and LaunchDarkly.
• Implement software supply chain security, artifact governance, vulnerability management, and secure delivery controls.
• Provide L3 support, incident response, root cause analysis, on-call support, documentation, reusable templates, and developer enablement.

Requirements

• Location: Must work within the specified U.S. geography; remote work requires a dedicated space that protects member PHI and HIPAA information.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, platform engineering, or operations, including 5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering.
• Experience with Azure, GCP, Terraform, CI/CD platforms, GitOps, and Kubernetes environments including AKS, GKE, and OpenShift.
• Experience administering JFrog Artifactory, Xray, Curation, Argo CD, SonarQube, and LaunchDarkly.
• Strong Linux/Unix and Windows administration skills, plus advanced PowerShell, Bash, and Python scripting.
• Experience with software supply chain security, vulnerability remediation, regulated compliance environments, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.

Nice to have

• Experience leading enterprise DevOps platform modernization, onboarding, adoption, or governance initiatives.
• Familiarity with DORA metrics, DevOps models, automated testing, security scanning, and compliance controls in CI/CD pipelines.
• Healthcare technology experience or experience in other highly regulated industries.
• Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, or related cloud certifications.
