Senior Associate, Platform Engineer (Azure AI)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work arrangement. Occasional business travel to hirify.global sites and service partners. Permanent U.S. work authorization is required.

Annual base salary: $79,400–$132,400 USD. The role is also eligible for a 7.5% bonus target.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and operate an enterprise pro-code AI Agent Platform on Azure.
• Integrate Microsoft Foundry and related AI/ML services for secure, scalable, and compliant agentic applications.
• Automate highly available and reproducible Azure environments with Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for platform components and configurations.
• Build identity controls, RBAC, policy guardrails, and lifecycle processes aligned with enterprise and regulatory standards.
• Establish monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, runbooks, and self-service support for global environments and tenants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Ability to perform complex data analysis and incident triage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with telemetry and observability for collecting and exporting metrics, logs, and traces.
• Background in software development, systems engineering, DevOps, or cloud platform engineering.
