TL;DR
Senior Network Engineer (Network Infrastructure): Implementing and administering global enterprise data networks, hybrid and software-defined network stacks, remote access, firewalls, and cloud-based network platforms with an accent on enterprise architecture, security, and performance optimization. Focus on designing resilient routing and switching solutions, supporting merger and acquisition projects, resolving complex network incidents, and deploying infrastructure across global facilities.
Location: Onsite in Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA; requires at least 15% travel to local sites and occasional travel to other facilities and global locations.

What you will do
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and guidance to global business units and IT teams.
- Design and implement network solutions for merger and acquisition projects.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security and operational teams on current and future network designs.
- Develop network security postures, including policy compliance, patching, and operational procedures.
- Deploy, support, and optimize enterprise network technology across subsidiary organizations, premises, and cloud platforms.
- Evaluate network architecture, eliminate single points of failure, manage incidents and service requests, and maintain diagrams, policies, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience participating in major networking projects as an analyst, architect, or technical lead.
- Expert-level knowledge in at least two areas including routing protocols, campus switching, WAN connectivity, SD-WAN, cloud data center networking, network access control, or wireless networking.
- Advanced skills in network architecture, installation, maintenance, and next-generation firewall technologies such as Palo Alto Networks.
- Strong LAN and WAN knowledge, technical documentation skills, analytical thinking, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on lifts and mezzanines at heights of 20–30 feet and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Nice to have
- HPE Aruba, Juniper, Cisco CCNP or CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certifications.
- Experience with EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, policy-based routing, VRF, QoS, MPLS, ELAN, VPN, IPsec, P2P, multicast, spanning tree, and SD-WAN platforms.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, 802.1X, AAA, Cisco Wireless, and Aruba Central.
