Cloud Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Assess existing IT infrastructure and develop strategies to migrate or build applications and data in cloud environments.
• Select and manage cloud services and infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, databases, virtual machines, load balancers, CDNs, and application services.
• Automate cloud management and deployments using scripting technologies.
• Maintain GoAnywhere MFT platforms, create accounts and SFTP sites, and develop process documentation, user guides, and operating procedures.
• Prepare technical implementation plans, manage configurations and system topology documentation, and monitor performance and cloud costs.
• Work with Information Security to remediate concerns and provide Level 3 support to the Service Desk.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration and an associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience managing Linux servers, Windows Server, IBM AIX, SQL databases, Active Directory, DNS, FSMO roles, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP, SMTP, DHCP, DNS, network security, and firewall configuration.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms such as VMware, Azure, or AWS.
• Microsoft or VMware certifications are required.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
