Learning Experience Designer (Cybersecurity)

Location: United States

Base salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and develop technical training materials for implementing, using, administering, and supporting hirify.global technology.
• Create tutorial and explainer videos using screen captures, motion graphics, and voiceovers.
• Apply learning theory and instructional design practices to create course documents and video scripts.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify knowledge and skill gaps and translate customer needs into training deliverables.
• Research course topics, deploy courses in the learning management system, and conduct quality assurance reviews of courses and assessments.
• Update aging learning assets to align with current product versions.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience; background in adult education is preferred.
• Experience designing instructional content for complex topics and building self-paced materials for external audiences and customers.
• Three years of experience with Adobe Creative tools, including After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Audition.
• Three years of experience with authoring tools such as Storyline or Captivate.
• Ability to learn complex technical concepts quickly and understanding of IT environments, troubleshooting, and networking concepts.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth technology company.
• Skilljar learning management system administration experience.
• Technical certifications in front-end development, UX, digital marketing, or web analytics.
• Professional graphic, web, or UX/UI design portfolio.
