Quality Platform Engineer (AI)

Location: United States (Remote)

Salary: $150K–$220K plus equity

What you will do

• Design and own shared automation frameworks for web, mobile, and backend engineering teams.
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure for automated test suites, including flaky-test detection and triage tooling.
• Develop test-environment provisioning, test-data management, and parallelized execution to keep feedback loops fast.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve test coverage and embed quality practices into development workflows.
• Define quality standards and provide observability for coverage, pass rates, and test run times.
• Maintain documentation and best practices for effective automated testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend, backend, or platform engineering with a strong testing focus.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, or similar languages, with experience architecting test frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, AWS, and containerized test environments.
• Experience with API and integration testing, plus end-to-end testing for web and mobile platforms such as React Native.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence testing practices across multiple engineering teams.
• Drive, proactivity, and an execution-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, Kubernetes, AWS, React Native, and microservice-oriented architectures.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
