Company

hirify.global develops secure, cloud-based clinical software that helps healthcare professionals deliver care and structure health data for research.

What you will do

  • Lead the evolution toward an AI-agent quality system for identifying coverage gaps, generating and maintaining tests, detecting flaky tests, supporting exploratory testing, and surfacing reproducible defects.
  • Design safe, maintainable agent workflows with isolated execution, human review, and appropriate controls.
  • Build the foundations of the quality platform, including Playwright, CI integration, ephemeral test environments, test data management, quality observability, and structured test knowledge.
  • Establish CI and pull-request quality gates, coverage validation, high-risk code checks, and actionable failure reporting.
  • Rationalise the E2E suite and create cross-layer coverage maps and risk-based defect views.
  • Contribute to quality strategy, non-functional testing, tooling decisions, metrics, shift-left adoption, and coaching for engineers and SDETs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as an SDET or Test Automation Engineer.
  • Strong experience designing, building, and evolving reliable, maintainable automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-augmented or agentic quality workflows, including awareness of data privacy, security, clinical safety, cost, and false-positive risks.
  • Commercial experience with TypeScript-based automation frameworks and experience with Playwright.
  • Experience with unit, component, API, integration, and E2E testing, testing-pyramid strategy, and coverage planning.
  • Exposure to performance, accessibility, security, reliability, DevOps, and cloud tools including k6, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Datadog, and AWS.

Nice to have

  • Experience with performance testing tools such as k6.
  • Experience conducting proof-of-concepts for non-functional testing.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work on healthcare software intended to improve care delivery for millions of people.
  • Autonomy and ownership with shared context and company-wide impact.
  • 36 days off, including holidays, bank holidays, a birthday day, and additional feel-good days.
  • Private health insurance covering physical and mental health, dental, and optical care.
  • Latest MacBook or Windows device and equipment for an ergonomic home office.
  • Access to a Central London office with a roof terrace, refreshments, activities, and team events.
