Tire & Battery Technician - Automotive

Location: Onsite in Dallas, Texas, United States

Salary: $19.00–$27.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide safe and efficient tire and battery sales and service while supporting member needs.
• Collaborate with associates, fulfill service requests, and mentor new technicians.
• Apply safety, compliance, tire and battery industry, equipment operation, TPMS, product, and service standards.
• Use point-of-sale systems, handheld technology, and digital tools to support sales, training, and service decisions.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory, handle returns and special orders, and complete required records.
• Identify member needs, support purchasing decisions, resolve service concerns, and report hazards or product issues.

Requirements

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must successfully complete required training and assessments within the prescribed time period.
• Ability to work hands-on in the physical tire and battery service area and follow safety, ethics, and compliance standards.
• Ability to collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners.

Nice to have

• Automotive service industry experience.
• Retail experience.
