Global Logistics & Trade Compliance Coordinator

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; fully onsite with in-office attendance five days per week

Salary: $92,800–$136,070 annual base pay for the San Francisco Bay Area market

What you will do

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments through UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other approved carriers.
• Prepare and review commercial invoices, customs paperwork, shipping documentation, and export records.
• Resolve carrier exceptions, customs clearance delays, and international shipping issues with carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Determine shipment values, HTS classifications, countries of origin, Incoterms, and required export documentation.
• Process receiving transactions in Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP and support warehouse delivery, inspection, distribution, and asset tracking.
• Improve shipping processes, reporting, automation, standard operating procedures, and operational metrics.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in logistics, international shipping, supply chain, or trade compliance.
• Experience managing international shipments from origin through customs clearance and final delivery.
• Working knowledge of import/export documentation, commercial invoices, country of origin, HTS classification, and Incoterms.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, DHL, or similar carrier platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and Microsoft Excel skills.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of Export Administration Regulations, customs regulations, Incoterms, and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
• Experience with dangerous goods shipping, including lithium-ion batteries.
• Experience supporting global logistics operations.
