Logistics & Trade Compliance Manager

What you will do

• Lead, train, and develop the logistics team supporting storage tank and energy infrastructure projects.
• Develop and manage logistics plans covering transportation routing, shipping requirements, equipment mobilization, and delivery sequencing.
• Coordinate domestic trucking, ocean and air freight, rail, oversized loads, heavy-lift transport, and international project cargo.
• Manage delivery of critical-path materials, long-lead equipment, commodities, and fabricated components to project sites and fabrication shops.
• Oversee freight forwarders, 3PLs, carriers, suppliers, and port authorities, including rates and service agreements.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and spending, remove schedule bottlenecks, and implement cost and resilience improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 10–12 years of experience with import/export regulatory compliance in the international oil and gas or construction industry.
• Expert knowledge of INCOTERMS 2020 and advanced domestic freight management.
• Experience managing heavy-haul and oversized loads, chartering, and international project cargo.
• Advanced understanding of U.S. trade regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC, plus international customs and export control laws.
• Ability to travel 25% domestically and internationally and complete applicable pre-employment screening.

Nice to have

• International Trade or Import/Export industry certifications.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, field operations, and project execution models.
• Experience with ERP systems, logistics software, and shipment tracking tools.
• Knowledge of hirify.global products and markets.
