People Programs Manager (AI)

Location: New York, New York, United States. Positions listed within a specific city are available only in that location, with either a hybrid-remote or in-office schedule depending on the role.

Base salary: $100,000–$110,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Own and evolve employee listening programs, including engagement, pulse, onboarding, exit, and lifecycle surveys.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative feedback to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and root causes.
• Lead the end-to-end onboarding experience from pre-boarding through the first 90 days.
• Coordinate onboarding and employee experience initiatives across People, Talent Acquisition, IT, Workplace, Learning & Development, and business teams.
• Design scalable workflows with clear ownership, handoffs, documentation, decision points, and success measures.
• Simplify, standardize, redesign, and automate processes while maintaining meaningful employee interactions.

Requirements

• Employee-centered mindset with empathy, active listening, and curiosity about how employees experience processes and systems.
• Experience designing, improving, and operationalizing workflows and programs.
• Strong program and project management skills, including scope, prioritization, timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder accountability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work through ambiguous challenges, diagnose root causes, and create structured paths forward.
• Continuous improvement mindset and interest in technology, AI, and automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with people strategy, employee engagement, employee listening, onboarding, or lifecycle programs.
• Experience leading initiatives across multiple teams and priorities.
• Experience with Lattice, Seismic, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting global or distributed organizations.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools and workflow automation.
