System/Service Engineer

Location: Gdańsk/Gdynia office, Poland; primarily office-based. Remote work is possible only in exceptional circumstances. Occasional travel within Poland and internationally is required.

What you will do

• Install, commission, configure, maintain, and repair equipment and technical systems.
• Diagnose technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, measurements, and functional checks.
• Provide technical support and resolve operational issues for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Support equipment and software upgrades while communicating recurring issues to engineering, R&D, production, and customer service teams.

Requirements

• Academic or technical education in engineering, automation, electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field; military education is also relevant.
• At least 2 years of experience in technical service, maintenance, commissioning, or field engineering is advantageous.
• Understanding of technical projects with significant software and hardware content, including electronic warfare, signals intelligence, command and control systems, or IP-based communication networks.
• Knowledge of Polish Armed Forces regulations, standards, and requirements, with the ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• Good command of English, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, a customer-oriented approach, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• A Personal Security Clearance is required or must be obtainable; eligibility for access to classified information and a clear criminal record certificate from the Polish National Criminal Register are required. Category B driving licence is required.
