Area Manager - Maintenance (Fashion, Import, Print Solutions, Regional, Returns, Sam's, Wm.com)

Location: Onsite at 2100 E Tipton St, Seymour, Indiana 47274, United States

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone or stock compensation.

What you will do

• Implement business plans by setting goals, managing staffing and schedules, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Manage daily maintenance operations for material-handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment, and general building repairs.
• Monitor productivity, expenses, capital expenditures, asset utilization, and operational performance reports.
• Maintain quality and safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA, hazardous-waste, NFPA, stormwater, DOT, and other applicable regulations.
• Supervise, coach, evaluate, and develop associates and leaders while supporting hiring, promotion, and training activities.
• Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns and drive continuous operational improvement.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or technical school certification in an industrial-related field and one year of related maintenance supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of degree and supervisory or hirify.global Logistics maintenance experience.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers or supervisors, managing workloads, and participating in hiring and promotions.
• Experience in a maintenance-related or industrial environment, including at least one year in the maintenance field where applicable.
• Ability to complete all required training and assessments.

Nice to have

• Experience with compliance, general maintenance, Microsoft Office, supermarket refrigeration equipment, associate supervision, or warehouse management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in business or logistics.
