Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations - Licensed

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Direct HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, critical power, and facility maintenance operations.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs, inspections, energy-reduction initiatives, and facility system improvements.
• Manage complex projects, including work assignments, schedules, materials, contractors, punch lists, invoices, and completion verification.
• Oversee regional field operations, contractor performance, maintenance costs, and service completion.
• Develop and manage budgets for capital expenses, staffing, materials, equipment, contracts, and facility improvements.
• Hire, train, supervise, mentor, and develop maintenance associates while supporting compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field plus 3 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Mechanical Contractor License or equivalent required in the state of employment.
• EPA 608 Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or a related area.
• Ability to manage budgets, projects, contractors, compliance, and maintenance teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with building controls.
• Cross-functional team leadership experience.
• Maintenance supervision experience in optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments.
• State or jurisdiction-specific certifications and licenses, including Type I and Type II EPA refrigerant certifications.
