Manager, Facilities Maintenance - Energy & Sustainability (HVAC)

Location: Onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $70,000–$130,000, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Support implementation of campus Sustainability Masterplan initiatives across the corporate real estate portfolio.
• Track, analyze, and report energy, water, carbon, utility, and interval-data performance.
• Identify and quantify Energy Conservation Measures and support Measurement & Verification activities.
• Troubleshoot HVAC performance issues using BAS/SCADA trends for chilled-water, hot-water, and air systems.
• Coordinate with facilities teams, contractors, and commissioning agents on functional testing, issue tracking, and corrective actions.
• Support Monitoring-Based Commissioning, dashboards, reports, and documentation for LEED and internal standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field, plus relevant facilities, construction, or engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in energy engineering, HVAC systems, and building operations.
• Expertise with BAS systems and HVAC equipment, including AHUs, chillers, boilers, and pumps.
• Experience with energy and data analysis tools, utility data, and system-level trends.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, commissioning practices, and sustainability frameworks.
• Ability to work onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Nice to have

• PE, EIT, CEM, LEED AP, or another energy-related certification.
• Experience with ESPM, LEED, Building Performance Standards, digital twin platforms, MBCx tools, or BAS/BMS systems.
• Master’s degree or higher in engineering.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams or supervising maintenance personnel.
