Manager, Facility Services

Location: Onsite at the Walmart Supercenter in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States

Annual salary: $90,000–$180,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Direct HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, critical power, and facility maintenance operations.
• Manage complex facility, construction, maintenance, and capital projects, including schedules, costs, materials, inspections, and punch lists.
• Lead sustainability initiatives and support Environmental Protection Agency compliance programs.
• Direct regional field operations, monitor preventive maintenance completion, and manage contractor and service-provider performance.
• Develop and approve budgets, contracts, invoices, purchase requests, labor estimates, and facility improvement plans.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop associates while coordinating with business partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field plus 3 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of relevant experience.
• EPA 608 Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or a related area.
• Ability to manage budgets, projects, maintenance programs, compliance inspections, and contractor relationships.
• Ability to supervise associates and work cross-functionally.
