Cloud Enterprise Architect II (Cloud Security)

Location: Preferred greater NOVA; remote in the U.S., with travel to customer sites, cloud partner headquarters, and industry events.

Base salary: $185,100.00–$273,200.00 USD annually, plus bonus plans.

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of secure multi-cloud, hybrid cloud, classified cloud, and edge-to-cloud architectures.
• Support strategic technical relationships with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and technology alliance partners.
• Develop joint reference architectures, migration frameworks, marketplace offerings, solution accelerators, deployment frameworks, operational playbooks, and secure deployment guides.
• Design cloud architectures integrating Zero Trust, Cross Domain Solutions, AI/ML services, DevSecOps, and cloud-native technologies.
• Lead executive-level customer engagements, architecture reviews, modernization workshops, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Author technical documentation and provide enablement and training for sales, engineering, product, alliance, customer success, and customer teams; represent the organization at conferences and technical events.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud engineering, and secure cloud solution design.
• Expertise across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, containers, cloud networking, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, FedRAMP, RMF, NIST 800-53, cloud security, encryption, and secure software practices.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, AI/ML cloud services, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud management.
• Executive-level communication, presentation, stakeholder engagement, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6–10 years of enterprise architecture, cloud engineering, or systems architecture experience, including 3–5 years designing, deploying, or operating enterprise cloud environments.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the U.S.; certain positions may require U.S. Person status under ITAR or EAR regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Federal Government customers.
• Cloud architecture certification such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional.
• CISSP, TOGAF, CKA, or RHCA certification.
