Product Manager, Digital Pathology

Location: Vista, California, United States. The role is on-site and may also be performed remotely from home under the eligible remote work arrangement. Travel up to 20%.

Annual salary: $120,000–$140,000, plus eligible bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Manage iQC software, connectivity offerings, and scanner portfolios throughout planning, commercialization, sustainment, and end-of-life.
• Identify market opportunities and develop business cases, product strategies, roadmaps, and lifecycle plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Program Management to define requirements and prioritize product enhancements.
• Capture the Voice of the Customer through user personas, workflow mapping, and unmet-needs analysis.
• Align software, AI, connectivity, platform, commercial, marketing, and service teams on product strategies, release milestones, interoperability, and business objectives.
• Develop installed-base conversion and customer migration strategies for global healthcare and life science markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Life Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 3+ years of product marketing, product management, or related experience in medical devices, software solutions, or capital equipment.
• Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably medical device or FDA-regulated markets.
• Experience developing and executing product lifecycle strategies, including launches, commercialization, installed-base management, migration initiatives, and end-of-life planning.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Nice to have

• Experience in clinical laboratories, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals.
• Experience in digital pathology.
• Experience developing and implementing end-of-life strategies.
