Maintenance Shop Diesel Mechanic C (Diesel Equipment)

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under the supervision of a lead technician, maintenance supervisor, or maintenance manager.
• Inspect vehicle systems and identify potential equipment issues and sources of malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
• Complete oil changes, fluid replenishment, vehicle adjustments, tire changes, and light repairs.
• Perform basic electrical work, including replacing lights.
• Complete applicable company training programs and other assigned maintenance duties.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Certified diesel maintenance program completion and ASE T8 Preventive Maintenance certification are beneficial but not required.
