Mechanical Engineer (Semiconductor)

Salary: $100,000–$136,500 per year

What you will do

• Perform engineering analysis and troubleshoot moderately complex mechanical problems.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Design and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment, including sourcing critical parts and subsystems.
• Support the handling, assembly, and disassembly of components and assemblies throughout the product life cycle.
• Prepare engineering test reports and alpha/gamma documentation for product releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and materials science.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, or Design for Excellence principles.
