Senior Commercial Credit Underwriter – Dealer Finance (Fintech)

Location: Dallas, United States. Full-time work authorization in the United States is required without employer sponsorship.

Annual base pay: $86,250–$145,000 USD

Financial services organization providing integrated capital and banking solutions to automotive dealers, including floorplan financing, syndicated lending, commercial real estate, treasury, and merchant services.

What you will do

• Underwrite complex loans and manage credit risk for multi-dealer groups.
• Analyze dealership financial statements, corporate tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and borrower risk.
• Prepare accurate credit proposals, modifications, renewals, and new business requests.
• Manage the end-to-end underwriting process and review loan applications and supporting documentation.
• Monitor portfolios, past-due and upcoming-due loans, loan documents, and compliance with underwriting standards and banking regulations.
• Review credit memos prepared by junior staff and collaborate with customers and internal business partners.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, credit structuring, and commercial dealership credit underwriting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience evaluating credit risk, loan collateral, borrower financials, and lending requests in commercial banking.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit analysis, loan structuring, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, communication, decision-making, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
