Regional EHS Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Clifton Park, New York, United States; travel up to 25% to global manufacturing locations and field sites

Estimated base salary: $103,000–$140,000 per year, plus eligibility for variable cash compensation and, for eligible roles, equity

What you will do

• Lead EHS programs for the Clifton Park manufacturing site and customer or field-service operations.
• Assess, track, analyze, and report environmental, health, and safety performance.
• Develop and improve programs for lockout/tagout, electrical safety, machine guarding, hazardous materials, waste, and emergency preparedness.
• Conduct inspections, job hazard assessments, chemical approval workflows, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses.
• Manage corrective and preventive actions, contractor safety, EHS documentation, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Global EHS, engineering, operations, HR, regulatory agencies, customers, auditors, building owners, and site leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and international EHS regulations.
• At least 7 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment; 2–3 years in a leadership role is preferred.
• Proven experience implementing lockout/tagout, electrical safety, and machine guarding programs, with working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, recordkeeping, collaboration, and continuous-improvement skills.
