Automotive Senior Tech

Location: 652156 Longview High; on-site automotive service work in the United States. Form I-9 employment eligibility verification is required, and temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify applicants.

Salary: $18.54–$31.55 per hour through a performance-based flat-rate compensation model.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to technical specifications.
• Service brake and hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Support and mentor fellow technicians in technical activities.
• Maintain current automotive knowledge through paid formal training.

Requirements

• At least three years of automotive repair experience, a related vocational-technical program, or demonstrated equivalent skills and certifications.
• A.S.E. certification in at least three areas among A1–A8 is required.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Maintain applicable federal, state, and local certifications or licenses.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
