What you will do

• Review customer requirements, drawings, and specifications to develop project-specific product builds.
• Create and modify accurate 2D and 3D designs using CAD tools, considering functionality and manufacturability.
• Calculate and verify dimensions, tolerances, materials, and specifications, escalating discrepancies when needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to validate fit, function, and production readiness.
• Create, maintain, and update bills of materials and customer drawing packages, incorporating feedback and revisions.
• Release final builds for production and support manufacturing with fabrication drawings and design guidance.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Drafting, Build Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Experience with AutoCAD and 3D CAD software such as Ihirify.globalor, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of mechanical product building, drafting standards, engineering documentation, manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and materials.
• Ability to create detailed drawings, assemblies, and product designs with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with cross-functional teams.
• Approximately 3–5 or more years of product development, mechanical development, drafting, or related experience preferred.
