Electrical Designer II (HVAC)

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with flexible work location on Fridays

Salary: $49,400.00–$69,755.00 annual base salary range or hourly base pay range

What you will do

• Design and document electrical systems using computer-aided design and product lifecycle management systems.
• Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and supporting product documentation.
• Document parts and bills of materials.
• Lead small segments of larger projects, identify design problems, and correct errors.
• Support new product development, product updates, manufacturing, and personnel training.
• Maintain knowledge of drafting standards, CAD tools, and company safety and security procedures.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Design, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro Engineer, CAD, or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of electrical design and drafting practices.
• Customer-focused, innovative, and quality-minded approach.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday in Grand Rapids and select a suitable work location on Fridays.
