What you will do

• Lead, recruit, hire, train, and oversee Underwriting Portfolio Managers supporting commercial investment real estate.
• Manage a small assigned portfolio, including credit underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and portfolio analysis.
• Communicate and implement commercial credit underwriting policies, procedures, frameworks, and risk strategies.
• Ensure timely and accurate risk ratings, credit risk identification, underwriting quality, and KPI/KRI performance.
• Support Regional Credit Officers and Credit Risk leaders with detailed information for credit decisions.
• Maintain underwriting standards and regulatory readiness across internal, external, audit, and loan review processes.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• At least 7 years of related professional experience.
• Strong management, communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Extensive knowledge of investment real estate lending, including construction, underwriting, and banking practices.
• Knowledge of commercial banking policies, procedures, and government regulations.
• Basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
