Maintenance I&E Technician (Petrochemical)

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA operates large-scale olefins and polyolefins manufacturing facilities producing ethylene, polypropylene, butadiene, and high-density polyethylene.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust motors, circuits, valves, analyzers, and other critical plant equipment.
• Provide field instrumentation support for pneumatic, hydraulic, electromechanical, and electronic process equipment connected to LAN or SCADA systems.
• Calibrate instruments, analyzers, control valves, and complete electronic or pneumatic control loops using appropriate test equipment and standards.
• Troubleshoot motor starter circuits up to 5 kV, light circuits, and related electrical systems.
• Develop work plans, document calibration and maintenance records, and identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce production impacts.
• Support incident investigations, corrective actions, mechanics, operators, and other departments while maintaining safe work practices and housekeeping.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of full-time practical experience in process instrumentation within petrochemical, refinery, pulp and paper, or a related industry; alternatively, a two-year technical associate degree or equivalent ISA CCST certification.
• Ability to calibrate instrumentation and analyzers and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to acquire a TWIC card.
• Ability to work onsite at the Chocolate Bayou facility in Alvin, Texas.
