E&C Technician (Missouri City, TX)

Location: Onsite in Houston, Texas, with the assigned role location in Missouri City, TX

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, install, repair, and operate mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
• Diagnose PLC logic, control valves, cause-and-effect systems, alarms, sensors, and electrical motor controls.
• Maintain equipment inventories, make callouts, inspect systems, and schedule electrical maintenance.
• Read electrical prints and make appropriate red-line changes; assist PLC programming personnel.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and contractors on new construction projects.
• Monitor safety practices, supervise electrical contractors, and work in outdoor, confined, industrial, and hazardous environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of experience or equivalent knowledge; job level is commensurate with experience and knowledge.
• General knowledge of compressor stations, gathering systems, and processing plant operations.
• Understanding of PLC troubleshooting, electrical prints, motor control, instrumentation, and equipment repair.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, climb, work at heights and in confined areas, and manually handle loads up to 75 pounds.
• Subject to overtime, call-outs, and Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Nice to have

• Journeyman electrician qualification.
• Experience with Maximo or another enterprise asset management application.
