Maintenance Technician (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Terre Haute, Indiana, USA — onsite role

What you will do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, piping systems, valves, motors, conveyors, bearings, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Support millwright work, including equipment alignment, rebuilds, fabrication, and installation projects.
• Diagnose electrical, control system, PLC, automation, and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
• Execute maintenance work orders and document activities in SAP or a computerized maintenance management system.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and reliability teams to improve plant efficiency while following environmental, health, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical maintenance experience with pumps, valves, piping systems, bearings, and rotating equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, motors, control circuits, and instrumentation.
• Ability to read schematics, electrical drawings, and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, automated manufacturing systems, CMMS, and maintenance documentation.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in industrial, electrical, or mechanical technology.
• Journey-level certification in electrical, millwright, instrumentation, or industrial maintenance.
• Experience in chemical, food ingredients, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Advanced knowledge of predictive maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance.
