Inside Sales Representative (Industrial Gases)

Location: Independence, Missouri — retail shop

What you will do

• Partner with Account Managers to provide coordinated service to professional customers.
• Resolve customer account inquiries and support long-term satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records and support account health in collaboration with internal teams.
• Improve internal processes and the overall customer journey.
• Coordinate across departments to resolve complex inquiries efficiently.
• Support collaborative daily operations in the retail shop.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in product, warehouse, or sales environments.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to detail when handling transactions.
• Availability for occasional overtime.
• Ability to work in a drug-free workplace.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control.
• Background in gas, welding, or safety supplies.
• Familiarity with SAP, PROS, Google applications, or Microsoft Office.
• Clear and warm communication with people from varied backgrounds.
