Industrial Inside Sales Representative (Electrical Distribution)

What you will do

• Sell industrial products and services to meet customer needs and grow market share.
• Handle customer requests by phone, fax, chat, and email, including quotations, cost procurement, order entry, expediting, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate customer, account, case, and opportunity data in Salesforce.
• Provide Level 1 technical support, project assistance, product cross-referencing, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate communication between sales engineers and customers and make proactive outbound calls to sales engineers.
• Support vendor product education, technical seminars, and the Sales Center reference library.

Requirements

• Previous inside sales experience is required.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution processes and procedures.
• Industry work experience with automation is required.
• One-year college or technical-school certificate, three to six months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Successful candidates are subject to pre-employment assessments, motor vehicle record review, background and reference checks, and a post-offer drug screen.
