HVAC Technician (HVAC/Refrigeration)

Location: Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Williamsburg, United States; onsite work throughout the park, including indoor and outdoor areas, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation: $27.00 USD

What you will do

• Repair and inspect HVAC and refrigeration systems throughout the park.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and required documentation.
• Maintain proficiency with manufacturer manuals and park equipment procedures.
• Control inventory and review equipment and supply ordering needs with leadership.
• Keep work areas clean and complete assigned tasks within park time constraints.
• Follow department performance, attendance, and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum age of 18.
• Technical trade school training or equivalent HVAC/refrigeration experience, with at least two years of practical experience or an equivalent combination.
• EPA Universal certification and experience with HVAC controls.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints or drawings.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to obtain a company driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights up to 100 feet, and work indoors and outdoors in noise, vibration, weather conditions, and temperature extremes.

Nice to have

• HVAC/refrigeration controls experience.
• VFD knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
• HVAC/refrigeration maintenance experience with food service equipment or commercial refrigeration.
• Mechanical engineering experience.
