Cost/Financial Analyst (DoD)

Location: On-site in San Diego, California

Salary: $75,000–$125,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Conduct cost analyses for life cycle cost estimates, program office budgets, contract proposals, and other cost products.
• Develop independent government cost estimates and ad hoc estimates.
• Provide analytical support for program controls, reporting, financial execution, and budgets.
• Evaluate spend plans, proposals, program risks, and impacts of technical and schedule changes.
• Coordinate and defend analytical results with other organizations and contractors.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in financial analysis, cost analysis, and budget formulation.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, engineering, business, or the sciences.
• At least 24 semester hours of quantitative coursework, including three hours of college-level calculus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Department of Defense acquisition processes, regulations, and best practices, including the PPBE process.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
