Cost Analyst (DoD Finance)

Location: Fully onsite at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, United States

Salary: USD $70,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Research and analyze budget issues across the USARCENT Theater Area of Responsibility.
• Support the Coalition Acquisition Review Board and other requirements review processes.
• Prepare and evaluate requirements by cost center, Work Breakdown Structure, and level of detail.
• Analyze supplemental funding appropriations for USARCENT and the Army.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses, evaluate alternatives, and develop independent cost estimates.
• Prepare and brief reports, recommendations, courses of action, and decision options.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in cost analysis, budgeting, or forecasting Department of Defense financial resources.
• Ability to work fully onsite at Shaw Air Force Base.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications.
• Knowledge of cost-estimating tools and models and military organizational structures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, multitasking, independent-work, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
