Salary: USD $120,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

  • Develop cost estimates and pricing for cost-type, time-and-materials, and fixed-price government and commercial proposals.
  • Perform strategic pricing analysis and recommend pricing responses during bids and contract negotiations.
  • Analyze subcontractor and supplier proposals, validating labor, material, and other cost elements.
  • Support pricing reviews, equitable adjustments, contract modifications, claims, and termination settlements.
  • Maintain audit-ready pricing, incurred-cost, and financial-analysis documentation while translating final pricing into projected revenue.
  • Coordinate pricing approvals and mentor junior cost analysts and financial staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in cost analysis, pricing, or government contract finance.
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR, CAS, and government contract cost principles.
  • Experience supporting federal proposals and contract financial management.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including cost models, formulas, and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree, MBA, or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • Experience with DCAA or DCMA audits.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or similar government accounting systems.
  • Experience with large IDIQ contracts such as OASIS, GSA MAS, or GWACs.
