Mechanical Engineer (Packaging Automation)

What you will do

• Develop, design, and implement new products and modify existing mechanical designs.
• Create machine drawings, 3D models, assembly drawings, detail drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept through Factory Acceptance Test.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure parts are fabricated, machined, and assembled correctly.
• Collaborate with controls, parts, purchasing, operations, and customers to coordinate projects and support on-time delivery.
• Create bills of materials, manage engineering change notices, and size commercial components using engineering calculations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, mechanical design, CAD engineering, simulation engineering, or a related mechanical design role.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and fabricating high-speed automated machinery.
• At least 3 years of experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
• A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent may be accepted with 3 years of progressive relevant experience.
• Employment eligibility in the United States is verified through E-Verify.
