ESS Test and Evaluation Engineer (MILSATCOM)

Location: On-site in El Segundo, California, at a secure facility. Minimal travel and standard working hours.

Basic compensation: $135,000–$169,000 annually in El Segundo, California.

What you will do

• Develop T&E strategies, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, verification and test plans, objectives, methodologies, and evaluation criteria.
• Support Systems Integration and Test Plans and Systems Engineering Plans.
• Collect, analyze, and report test and evaluation data, including assessments and recommendations.
• Support T&E reviews, audits, working groups, IPTs, deficiency review boards, and technical interchange meetings.
• Assess test and integration deliverables and collaborate with integration and test teams.
• Document risks and mitigation plans and use digital engineering tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

• Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related technical field; equivalent education and experience may be accepted with Government approval.
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering and 8+ years in system test, verification, or analysis.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• On-site work is required due to security requirements.

Nice to have

• Existing Secret or higher clearance.
• Experience with MILSATCOM programs such as AEHF, EPS, WGS, or FAB-T.
• Experience with military or DoD civilian clients and ground or airborne systems.
• Systems engineering, MBSE, or Agile Development certifications.
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
